What credential types are supported?
Biometric identification handled by the reader's own on-device matching, plus cards and PINs — all managed from the same dashboard.
What happens if the network goes down?
The reader identifies and authorizes entirely on-device, so it doesn't depend on a live connection at all — it keeps deciding on its own through a network or internet outage.
Do I need an internet connection for this to work?
Not for the doors themselves — the reader makes every access decision on-device. An internet connection is only needed for the admin dashboard: managing users and rules, and watching the live event feed.
Can I evaluate it without real hardware?
Yes. Trineex ships with a built-in device simulator, so you can test the full flow — enrollment, access rules, live events — before connecting any hardware.
Does Trineex handle visitors and attendance too?
Yes — visitor check-in/check-out and attendance derived automatically from access activity are both part of the same product, not separate add-ons.
Who can access the admin dashboard?
Only signed-in users. Every admin route requires an authenticated session, and Viewer accounts are restricted to read-only — enforced on the server, not just hidden in the UI.
